Health visitor nurses visit people in their homes, community centres and GP practices to provide medical care and advice. As a health visitor you will travel around your local community, attending antenatal classes and clinics to help parents with how to raise their child and answer any of their questions. You’ll visit people who may be unable to get to a healthcare facility, treating any minor injuries and giving advice to those who need emotional support.
