If one of these roles sounds good, simply click on the link to find more information and apply for a job today.
Registered General Nurse
If you fancy working on the general ward of a hospital, then this could be the role for you. Typically trained in adult nursing, general nurses can specialise in ITU and A&E but also work in a nursing home providing additional support and care.
A position as a theatre nurse requires a lot of dedication and is a big responsibility as you’re caring for patients when they’re most vulnerable. You’ll be an important part of the operating department team, working with surgeons and anaesthetists.
Registered Mental Nurse
Mental health is an incredibly complex disease but if you’re ready for the challenge then this role will suit you. You could be working in a mental hospital, on a psychiatric ward in a general hospital or in a nursing home providing care to patients with dementia.
If you’re good with children, then a role in paediatrics could be the right area to develop your nursing career. Working with children requires a specialist approach, but you’ll be trained in the right manner before working in either a children’s hospital or on the children’s ward in a general hospital.
You’ll have similar responsibilities to a registered nurse but work within the community in people’s homes, schools, surgeries and health centres. Your role will be to focus on the elderly, children or people with learning disabilities who are much more vulnerable to health problems. You could also provide basic caregiving education to families and work closely with GPs, Local Social Services and Hospitals.
