Occupational Health

In order to protect the wellbeing of both you and your patients, the Department of Health require you to be screened in order to establish that you are protected against, and not suffering from, certain infectious diseases.

You must be deemed compliant within the guidelines issued in order for Team24 to offer you work.

The following evidence will be required:

Varicella

Self-declaration, positive serology result or proof that you have received two Varicella vaccinations.

Tuberculosis

Documentary proof of BCG vaccination

OR Documentary evidence of BCG scar from OH dept

OR Documentary evidence of Heaf/Mantoux result within last 5 years

Rubella (German Measles)

Blood test result or documentary evidence of vaccination details i.e. Proof that you have received Two MMR's

Measles

Blood test result or documentary evidence of vaccination details i.e. Proof that you have received Two MMR's

Hepatitis B

Blood test result AND documentary evidence of vaccination details.

 

If you are undertaking exposure prone procedures, you will be required to comply with the following:

Hepatitis B antigen test (IVS)

You will need to provide an identified validated sample of your most recent UK pathology report.

Hepatitis C antibody test (IVS)

You will need to provide an identified validated sample of your most recent UK pathology report.

HIV antibody test (IVS)

You will need to provide an identified validated sample of your most recent UK pathology report.
