Today The Telegraph published an on-line article, which will be featured in the newspaper on Tuesday 24th August regarding a new brand that Team24 is setting up. It invites the business community to give advice on how this new business should be funded and ultimately sold.

In summary:

Team24 are widely recognised for their revolutionary approach to technology, and have spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on technology solutions in recent years that have allowed them to become entirely ‘paperless’.

From October, deregulation across the industry will see the NHS take future responsibility for compliance, rather than agencies. This isn’t necessarily good news for Team24, who believe that NHS Trusts might become more cautious about working with agencies, and that it could lead to some unscrupulous agencies charging less by skipping compliance altogether.

However, in every threat there is opportunity, and Managing Director, Robert Stiff believes the company can provide an outsourced solution with its existing compliance checking technology and expertise to the NHS, and eventually to any other organisation that needs to conduct complex pre- and post-employment checks on its staff.

The next step on the Team24 journey will be to set up an entirely new company, possibly bringing in outside funding, to deal solely with compliance checking for all manner of companies.

The article invites entrepreneurs and professionals to comment on how Robert Stiff should decide to fund and sell the new business.
