This has been underpinned by being listed in the top 20 of Britain's fastest growing businesses for two successive years in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table. Team24 was the 15th fastest growing private company in the UK in 2010, following on from 2009 when placed 16th. The list is a snapshot of the fast movers as they adapt to the ever changing conditions in the marketplace and ranks firms by sales growth over their latest three financial years.

Another highlight came in November 2010 when Team24 topped Recruiter magazine's Hot 100 List as the year's highest ranked staffing company in the recruitment sector. Gross profit per employee was at more than £222,000 with turnover reaching £30.2m – more than doubling the previous year's figures.

Team24 was also nominated for a whole swathe of prestigious business awards and in May 2010 collected the gong as winner of Fast Growth Business Awards; Family Business of the Year which was a testimony to the Stiff family's input to the business during its formative years.

Other prestigious nominations included being twice a finalist of the Growing Business Innovation/Technology Award, CBI finalist in Best use of Technology, CBI finalist Business of the Year, National Business Awards finalist for Growth Strategy of the Year, BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards finalist for Small Business Project of the Year and Recruitment International Awards finalists in three categories.

Managing director and founder Robert Stiff's increased public profile rose inexorably throughout 2010. Due to demand, Robert conducted a series of talks and motivational lectures at industry, business and marketing conferences.

He also lectured to the MBA students at Henley Business School delivering his valuable insights on the intricacies of running a fast growing, high profit, sector-leading business and its long-term management.

In the media, Robert was featured in The Daily Telegraph's renowned business section, offering his advice on the best ways to motivate staff. The newspaper also reported on the company's business plans and featured Team24's entry in to the National Business Awards.

Other Business Press articles included Robert being profiled in The Recruiter, Recruitment International and Institute of Sales and Marketing Management Magazines.

This year Robert celebrated the company's 5th anniversary having started in a small office with a handful of employees in August 2005. Team24 is now one of the biggest healthcare recruiters in the UK, providing temporary doctors and nurses to large NHS trusts, local hospitals, GP surgeries and private clients in their homes of Surrey and London.

The company won a place on the London Regional Framework Agreement making them a preferred supplier to NHS Hospitals in London. As a direct result of winning this tender, Team24 has established SLAs with a number of NHS Trusts throughout London and has recently been awarded a SLA at Kings College Hospital, one of the most prominent medical establishments in the UK.

Information technology and innovation continued to play a key part in Team24's business growth strategy.

Team24's IT systems are not only leading-edge, but have also changed the whole practicality of the business. In 2010 Team24 became completely paperless, fully automated and in October saw the successful completion of an eight month project to move its entire IT environment into a virtual cloud.

Team24 opened its third office on Banstead High Street at the end of the year – demonstrating its ongoing commitment to being part of the local community.

The future promises much for both Team24 and Robert with plans afoot to develop an international medical network, upgrading its illustrious IT system, called Galago and with Robert appearing on a high profile educational programme for Business Link, Team24 and Robert Stiff are names which are sure to be on everybody's lips in 2011.
