Team24 has an ongoing contracts and part time opportunities for Surgical Assistants/Practitioners across the Essex area. The posts will involve working alongside members of the multi-disciplinary teams where you will take on new roles and responsibilities traditionally undertaken by junior medical staff.

The Surgical Assistant will need to integrate into Theatre teams to carry out this extended role which will include participating in operative procedures and aspects of pre and post operative care.

You will need the skills and knowledge to perform these duties to a high standard in order to achieve effective patient care and recovery. Applicants for the Surgical Assistant posts should have relevant theatre or surgical experience.
