Unit Manager, Nurse Specialist

My Client is looking for a Unit Manager Neuro/Stroke Rehab Unit. You should have 5 years clinical experience in rehab, eg. Neuro, stroke or related area. 3 years management experience. Experience of managing performance and capability with staff. Participation in service development and implementation of change. Mentorship or experience of teaching and assessing in the clinical area. The post holder must at all times follow and adhere to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses. Be able to maximise use of available resources to benefit patient care to ensure any changes in clinical practice with resource implications are discussed in advance with the Directors.
To ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with quality initiatives within the area of work.
Any other duties which may be required from time to time.
The post holder will be subject to an annual objective-setting and performance review process.
