An experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) is required for my client in east Essex: a superb care home with a great reputation having received very positive feedback during a recent inspection. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking a permanent position.

You will be part of a team to oversee and deliver nursing care to their senior residents whilst monitoring their overall health and wellness. The primary goal of the post holder is to help all the residents remain as independent as possible, limit their dependency and prevent them from losing their ability to function. To be responsible for following tailored plans of assistance for mobility, communication, social interaction, nutrition and physical care. The focus is very much on engaging with the patients, encouraging and developing their mobility and social interactions. Further role responsibilities include the administration, ordering and monitoring of medications, palliative care and administration of peg feeds.

The requirement is to 35 hours per week, working nights, 8pm to 8am. Suitable candidates will be qualified nurses with proven post qualification experience in the areas mentioned above; ideally with good clinical experience.
