Charge Nurse / Sister Nurse - Endoscopy

Seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our team in the Endoscopy Unit.
The department consists of two procedure rooms and seven recovery bays offering all aspects of Endoscopic technology. The individual will pay a key role in developing the department. You will ideally have proven experience or a sound knowledge of GRS/JAG accreditation.
You will be required to be able/capable of the following, plus many more:
* To demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable
for own actions.
* Prioritising workloads and directing staff accordingly.
* Make efficient use of available resources with regard to budgetary
constraints and business objectives.
* Provide management and leadership to the Endoscopy team.
* Evaluate the work of the team and ensure standards are met.
* Continually seek to develop clinical skills and delivery of care to meet
service users expectations.
* Maximise revenue capture from department procedures.
* Risk assessment and management, ensuring a safe environment for patients,
visitors and staff and colleagues.
* Ensure equipment is adequate and in good working order.
* Provide patients and families with information regarding the care and
management of their condition.
You will ideally be Registered Nurse Level 1, UKCC Registration and PREP requirements, ENB998 or similar. The ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 4 years post registration experience with 2 years in chosen specialty.
