Endoscopy Unit Manager
This position is within the Greater Manchester NHS Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service Project run by Care UK on behalf of the NHS.
Care UK is one of the leading independent providers in the NHS primary care sector. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our services and are about to set up a Clinical Assessment, Treatment and Support (CATS) scheme in the Manchester area. It’s a project that will have a major impact on primary care, focussing on the development of specialised services in mobile clinics to reduce waiting times across an entire region.
To manage all aspects of the Endoscopy unit and provide leadership to all staff within the Endoscopy unit. Ensure patient/ carer involvement in developing services.
Requirements:
• Experience as a Unit Manager or equivalent.
• Understanding of clinical governance.
• Managing shifts and awareness of Risk Assessment.
• Management of budgets.
• Excellent computer skills
• NMC Registered Nurse Part 1
