The South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (EOC) is the largest hip and knee replacement centre in the UK and one of the largest in the world.

The Centre provides a growing specialist orthopaedic service for the South West London and Surrey area and is fast becoming recognised as a centre of excellence. Most recently the centre achieved 5th place in the prestigious HSJ top 100 healthcare employers, being the 2nd NHS establishment. This award is based on the views of the staff.

The Centre is building on its success, with a project to bring a new theatre on line by the end of the year. In preparation for this, the EOC is looking for experienced orthopaedic theatre nurses and ODP’s to take the centre to new heights. With the new theatre will come an increase in spinal procedures, soft tissue, foot and ankle and pain management, complementing the already fully established lower limb joint and shoulder work.

The successful candidates will be dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, placing patients first in all they undertake. They will be passionate about orthopaedics and keen to explore new ways of working and thinking. They will be team players, enthusiastic and willing to learn. The EOC recognises that staff are its most valuable asset and offers much in the way of training and development to its staff, right up to Masters level.
