We are looking to appoint an experienced nurse for a medical centre in East London. This is an exciting opportunity as we’re looking to improve existing services and introduce new services for our 10 500 patients. We will also be improving patient access through longer opening hours and through the introduction of a walk-in–service.

You will be an experienced nurse who, acting within your professional boundaries, will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. You will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, and will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.

You will be a registered first level nurse with post registration training in nurse practitioner; independent nurse prescribing qualification would be beneficial. NMC requirements for advanced practice must be met. You must possess a minimum of 5 years post registration and at least 2 years recent primary care experience.
